She grew up in Massachusetts and attended college at Harvard University. She worked for two years at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute before attending medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Vincents Hospital in New York’s Greenwich Village before starting her residency in dermatology at Cornell University’s New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where she served as chief resident. She completed her training with a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. During her career, which spans more than two decades, she has performed over twenty thousand Mohs procedures.
Dr. Lambert founded the Woodruff Institute with her husband Dr. Jonathan Sonne in 2004. She holds an active medical license in the state of Florida and is board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Collier & Lee County Medical Societies.
Dr. Russell grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami with a major in Biology and minors in Business Administration, Chemistry, and Psychology. During this time, she performed research in the Department of Dermatology and is included as an inventor on a patent. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida and went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine from the University of California San Diego. She finished her dermatology residency at New York Medical College in New York City, where she was honored to serve as Chief Resident in her final year. She completed a fellowship in Mohs and Cosmetic Procedural Dermatology at the Skin Institute of South Florida which is dual certified by the American College of Mohs Surgery and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Russell joined The Woodruff Institute in 2014 and focuses on procedural dermatology including Mohs Surgery, skin cancer management, and non-invasive cosmetic procedures such as lasers, fillers, and neuromodulators. She has performed over 10,000 Mohs procedures. She is honored to be named as one of Naples Illustrated Top Doctors and Gulfshore Life/ Castle Connolly Top Doctors. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery (FACMS), and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Collier and Lee Medical Societies.

Dr. Brady was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami with two degrees, both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to medical school, she taught biology at Barron Collier High School. She then earned her medical degree with honors from New York University (NYU) where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine and her dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Brady is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She prides herself on using a custom approach for each patient, tailoring plans and treatments to best fit the needs of each individual. As a prior educator, she focuses on patient education and encourages patients to take an active role in their skincare and overall health. Dr. Brady is an expert in procedural dermatology, including cutaneous surgeries and the breadth of cosmetic dermatology. She offers a variety of cosmetic treatments including lasers, fillers, botulinum toxins, biostimulatory injections, Kybella, chemical peels, and more to achieve natural, youthful rejuvenation for her patients. She also treats medical dermatology concerns with an emphasis on detecting, diagnosing, and treating sun damage-related issues including skin cancers. Dr. Brady uses dermoscopy at every visit to facilitate the earliest possible pre-cancer and skin cancer detection.
Among her accolades and achievements, Dr. Brady was voted “Vanderbilt Dermatology Educator of the Year” and served as chief resident during her final year of residency. Since returning to Naples in 2018, she has been consistently recognized as a Top Doctor in both Gulf Shore Life Magazine and Naples Illustrated. She was also featured in Gulf Shore Life Magazine after winning the “Best Injectables” category as voted by the Southwest Florida community in 2023.
As a Naples native, Dr. Brady grew up fishing the Everglades and has roots in Southwest Florida that span generations. She still spends her free time exploring the great outdoors with her daughters, husband, and three dogs. She additionally enjoys traveling and animal rescue volunteerism. Dr. Brady is delighted to be practicing in her hometown where she is surrounded by family and friends.

Dr. Eichler graduated as valedictorian from Boca Raton Community High School. After completing his undergraduate studies at Emory University, he received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine from the University of Florida, before receiving his dermatology training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Eichler is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, Noah Worchester Dermatological Society, and the Collier & Lee County Medical Societies. He volunteers at the Neighborhood Health Clinic where he also serves on the board of directors since 2013.
Dr. Eichler is a past president of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (2005) and honored as the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Practitioner of the Year Award in 2012. He also was voted “Best Doctors of South Florida” in Miami Metro Magazine in October 1998, “Americas Top Doctors” and “How to Find the Best Doctors: Florida” by Castle Connolly Medical LTD in 2000 and 2002-2014.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond, VA and her medical degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, OH. Prior to starting her residency, she completed a dermatopharmacology research fellowship with a focus in psoriasis research and clinical trials. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, National Psoriasis Foundation and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Churton strives for excellence in all aspects of patient care. Her professional interests also include the treatment of psoriasis and immunobullous diseases.
She received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Puerto Rico, graduating magna cum laude from both and finishing in the top ten of her medical class. She completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico, where she served as Chief Resident and later joined the faculty as Assistant Professor.
She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology. She was in private practice in Puerto Rico before joining The Woodruff Institute. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Venetos has been in private practice in the northern Chicago suburbs since 1996. She attended Loyola University of Chicago, graduating with highest honors in 1986. She then attended University of Illinois College of Medicine and graduated in 1990. After completing an Internal Medicine residency at Evanston Hospital, she completed her dermatology residency from the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Venetos is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Chicago Dermatological Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society and The Dermatology Foundation.
Dr. Venetos practices general and cosmetic dermatology for all ages. With a particular interest in skin cancer prevention and early detection, she has organized multiple educational events and skin cancer screenings for her communities. She grew-up in Cedar Falls, Iowa and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Luther College with a bachelor of arts in Biology and English. While at Luther, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national fraternity. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine where she was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her Internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN and went on to complete her Dermatology residency at University of Michigan.
Dr. Pontasch served as a sub-investigator in clinical psoriasis research while in residency. She also worked to establish a free Dermatology clinic with her fellow residents during her tenure. She has participated in medical missions to Tanzania and Mexico. Dr Pontasch has been a lifelong visitor of Naples, Fl and loves living in this community with her husband and two young children.

Dr. Smith was born and raised in Weston, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami, where she majored in Biology and completed minors in both Art and Chemistry. Dr. Smith then attended the University of Florida College of Medicine (UF COM) to pursue her dream of becoming a Dermatologist.
During medical school, Dr. Smith was accepted into a psoriasis dermatology research fellowship with Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After returning to UF COM for her final year of medical school, Dr. Smith completed her internal medicine internship with the University of Miami at Holy Cross Hospital, in South Florida. Dr. Smith went on to complete her dermatology residency at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC), under the esteemed Carlos Nousari, M.D. While at BHMC, Dr. Smith diagnosed, treated, and counseled patients on a diverse array of dermatologic conditions and complex diseases of the skin. This experience continues to fuel Dr. Smith’s passion for making a positive difference in the lives of her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and two Miniature Schnauzers, Pepper and Clyde. Dr. Smith also enjoys painting, baking, exercising, knitting, and indoor rock climbing.
Dr. Rizzo was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He attended Syracuse University, earning a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa), and SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, earning dual doctoral degrees in medicine and biochemistry (MD and PhD). After medical school, he completed dermatology residency and micrographic surgery (Mohs)/dermatologic oncology fellowship training programs at the University of Michigan, one of the oldest and most prestigious programs in the world. At Michigan, Dr. Rizzo received comprehensive, rigorous and multidisciplinary training in the fields of general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and other rare cancers. He has performed thousands of Mohs and melanoma surgery cases, including a wide breadth of complex surgical reconstructions.
Dr. Rizzo is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He looks forward to working closely with patients in south west Florida to service their general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology needs.
Ronald F. Maceyko, M.D., is a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences in 3 years. He is a cum laude graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, where he was awarded the Rusoff Academic Excellence Award as the Top Student in the Independent Study Program and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society his junior year. While in medical school, Dr. Maceyko also performed clinical research involving patients with severe psoriasis. He completed his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned the Upjohn Research Award for Outstanding Dermatology Research for studying the effects of tretinoin and adjunctive topical products on photoaged skin. He received the Glaxo Resident Paper Award for a medical journal publication.
Dr. Maceyko was in private practice in Pennsylvania for over 20 years before he joined the Division of Dermatology at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, where he headed the section of dermatology at the Allegheny Health Network Autoimmunity Institute, a tertiary referral center for patients with autoimmune disorders. He was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award by the Fellows of the Allegheny Health Network West Penn Hospital Rheumatology Fellowship Program. Dr. Maceyko is board-certified in dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Maceyko practices general dermatology, evaluating and treating patients of all ages with common conditions like acne, rosacea, dermatitis, psoriasis, hair loss, and skin cancer. He has a special interest in complex medical dermatology including autoimmune disorders and diseases that affect the mouth.
Dr. Maceyko has been happily married to Mary (Kindle) Maceyko for over 30 years and they are the proud parents of three adult children, all of whom are healthcare professionals. Some of his favorite pastimes include spending time with family and friends, boating, fishing, golfing, playing board games, playing guitar, eating great homemade food, and watching movies.
Dr. Burton grew up in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida with a major in Civil Engineering. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He completed his intern year at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and finished his dermatology residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine where he was chief resident during his final year. He spent two years in private practice in Ohio before finally moving back closer to family in Florida. He enjoys both cosmetic and general dermatology while taking care of patients of all ages. He utilizes dermoscopy with all patients to assist in the detection of skin cancer and other diseases of the skin. He is a member of the Academy of Dermatology.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and spending quality time with his wife, daughter, dog, and two cats.
Dr. Burchhardt believes in a personalized treatment approach and prides herself on natural-looking results. With a practice dedicated exclusively to the face and neck, Dr. Burchhardt specializes in facial rejuvenation procedures such as face and neck lifts, fat transfer to the face, neck contouring, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and brow lifts, and rhinoplasty in addition to non-surgical procedures such as laser treatments and injectables.
Her research to date has focused on rhinoplasty teaching models and Botox applications in facial paralysis. She is an invited speaker at national conferences and an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, where she serves on the Women in Facial Plastic Surgery and the Young Physicians Committees.
Dr. Burchhardt completed her undergraduate studies at Rice University and earned her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine. Following her residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Wayne State University, she completed the distinguished American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) fellowship program at Vanderbilt University. She is double board-certified in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery, and in facial plastic surgery with the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Most recently, Dr. Burchhardt was in private practice in downtown Chicago, focusing on aging face procedures and rhinoplasty, as well as minimally invasive office-based procedures. She has now relocated to Naples, where her parents are longtime residents. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and golf, exploring art exhibits, and practicing violin.
Dr. Mav earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Chicago and then completed his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at Duke University while simultaneously obtaining a Master’s in Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Nutrition and Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Following medical school, Dr. Mav completed his residency in Dermatology at John Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and then expanded his training with an intensive one-year, Mohs micrographic surgery/Procedural Dermatology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. During his medical training, Dr. Mav published numerous scientific articles and studies in peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals and continues to have a strong interest in clinical research. During his free time, Dr. Mav enjoys working, running, biking, weight-lifting, cooking, eating, teaching, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
She graduated with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University and completed her undergraduate study with a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Elon University, along with a minor in Sociology. She has a wide array of medical experience including emergency services, OB/GYN, and multiple years as a medical assistant in dermatology. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is working towards completing their fellowship program. Kristin previously lived in her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina where she practiced medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She is passionate about skin health and aesthetics and is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients through assistance and education about a variety of skin disorders, skin cancer screenings, and cosmetic dermatology.
Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, new baby girl, golden retriever, and friends. She recently relocated from North Carolina to her husband’s hometown of Fort Myers. They are passionate about being on the water and love to go boating, fishing, and paddle boarding. She also loves to explore the great state of Florida, watch live music, travel and play pickle ball.
Tracy was born and raised in Massachusetts. Growing up she was a competitive swimmer. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan where she lettered all four years. Tracy earned her master’s degree at Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts. After graduating, she moved to Houston Texas and worked at NASA for several years studying the effects of space flight on the shuttle astronauts. She then moved into clinical research at Baylor College of Medicine. It was this work that got her interested in patient care and she decided to return to school to get her PA degree from Albany Medical College. After graduating from PA school, she initially worked in cardiology and electrophysiology back in Houston. After a few years her interest was piqued during an impromptu conversation with several dermatologists while vacationing in Florida. She worked and trained at the Truman VA in Columbia Mo in conjunction with the University of Missouri Medical School. She has spent over 10 years serving our nations veterans at several VA facilities around the country.
Tracy has always enjoyed athletics with her primary interest being swimming. She has participated in and finished 4 Ironman triathlons at various locations around the US. Her latest passion is golf, and she golfs as often as she is able. Tracy moved from Asheville NC to Naples to join the Woodruff Institute, enjoy the sunshine of Florida and be closer to family.
She grew up in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Sciences with cum laude honors. She attended the University of Florida College of Medicine where she received her Master in Physician Assistant Studies. Tiffany is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She specializes in skin cancer detection and prevention, cosmetics including Botox, Fillers, and Lasers.
Tiffany enjoys running, volunteering at her church, exploring new regions of the world, outdoor water activities, renovating properties, and spending time with her dog Cookie, family, and friends. Sofia graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular Biology. She received her Masters Degree in Health Sciences from Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program, which was the first Physician Assistant program in the country, and continues to be one of the top-ranked programs in the U.S. During her PA training at Duke, she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society, and won 1st place in the PAEA National Student Writing Competition with her thesis.
Sofia relocated to the D.C. area after practicing in Pediatrics for four years in Florida and Texas. In 2011, she was trained in medical and cosmetic Dermatology in the D.C. area and has been enjoying the field ever since. Sofia recently moved to South Florida and is grateful to be back by the water. Sofia loves spending time with her husband and three young children. She enjoys traveling and has explored Europe and Taiwan. Sofia and her husband are foodies and coffee lovers, who will travel for both. She enjoys running and has run in the Army 10 Miler as well as a half marathon. Her goal is to complete a full marathon.

She specializes in medical dermatology, treating both children and adults. She enjoys discussing skin health and creating a partnership with patients in the treatment of skin concerns. Jenn treats a variety of skin disorders including skin cancers, hair loss, acne, warts, scars, psoriasis, and eczema.
Jenn’s journey into medicine began as a firefighter/paramedic 25 years ago. She attended South University and received a degree as a physician assistant in 2005 and subsequently earned a Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska with a focus on dermatology studies. Jenn has practiced dermatology in Nevada, Virginia, and Florida, with additional practice experience specializing in allergy and immunology, urgent care, and functional medicine. She is fellowship-trained and board-certified with the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
Jennifer is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She has resided in Naples for over 13 years with her fiancé, Dennis. Together, they enjoy spending time with family, rescuing golden retrievers, paddling Florida’s vast waters, and traveling.
She obtained her Master’s of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Sarah graduated from the University of Virginia with her Bachelor’s in Arts and Science, majoring in Psychology with a minor in American Politics. Sarah is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric dermatology disorders. She is certified and trained to perform both cosmetic and medical laser procedures. Sarah also enjoys using her skills to inject botox, dysport and dermal fillers to achieve facial rejuvenation.

Sarah previously lived and worked in Jupiter, FL but has spent the last three years enjoying city life in Washington, DC. She is happy to be back in the sunshine state. A native of sunny Southwest Florida, Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Rachel has worked in the healthcare field for over thirty years and specializes in all areas of practice management. She enjoys using her clinical knowledge, patient care experience, and management skills to help support The Woodruff Institute in providing the highest quality medical and aesthetic care to the people of Southwest Florida.
Rachel is happily married with one son. In her spare time, she enjoys arts & crafts, party planning, karaoke, and boating.
Amy is specially educated and trained in many aspects of skincare including a variety of chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, microneedling and more. In 2020 and 2021, Amy was selected from her peers to participate in a Master Aesthetician course with SkinCeuticals and became part of the founding class for the Ambassador and Professional levels. Amy is dedicated to providing professional and effective anti-aging and acne treatments to change and maintain the health of the skin. In past years, Amy was a makeup artist for many weddings, fashion shows, and photography and has worked freelance for Jane Iredale events. Today, she focuses on daily wear makeup and medical camouflage.

Since joining the practice, she has completed the Ambassador Level of the Mastering SkinCeuticals program. Sara believes in both preventative and corrective approaches to results-driven skincare by providing a combination of in-clinic treatments and at-home regimens based on each patient’s individual skin concerns.
Sara enjoys working with all skin types on the Fitzpatrick scale and offers advanced treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and microneedling. She prioritizes not only skin health, but the overall wellness and care of each patient.

As a trained medical aesthetician and master educator of skin care, Sharon can ensure a safe and results-oriented skin care treatment plan. Her passion for skin care and patient care has allowed her the pleasure of meeting clients from all walks of life, all ages and with different needs and goals. Sharon truly enjoys the challenge of developing a personalized skin care plan that will target age related changes and treat the problematic skin.
She opened and operated her own skincare business in San Diego until the pandemic in 2020. She believes that one of the many gifts from the pandemic is that she is now here in Florida and part of The Woodruff Institute family.
Marcia specializes in rejuvenating aging, sun-damaged skin, clearing acne and educating her clients on the best products and ingredients for their skin. Her favorite treatments are microneedling, dermaplaning and LED light therapy because of the fantastic results achieved without downtime or side effects.
Marcia is very passionate and dedicated to provide the highest standard of care and relaxation experience to all of her clients. She is kind, caring, trustworthy and creates a safe space, listens to your concerns, shows you how to achieve your skincare goals to look and feel your best!
Marcia has one daughter who is married and living in Chicago with a baby on the way in 2024! Marcia enjoys Pickleball, cycling, beach walks, travel, hiking in the mountains, and doing inner work to become the best version of myself.

Since joining The Woodruff Institute, she has completed the Ambassador Level of the Mastering SkinCeuticals program. Taylor is dedicated to continuous learning and staying current with the latest advancements in skincare technology and techniques. She has expertise in custom facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microneedling. Taylor’s warm, professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional care make her the perfect choice for all of your skincare needs.

Martha, our Body-sculpting Technician, joined The Woodruff Institute in 2015. She started her career in dermatology in 2012, and joined The Woodruff Institute with an extensive background in aesthetics, retail, and customer service. She offers customized body-sculpting treatment plans tailored to her patient’s specific needs and goals and is passionate about giving her patients the best care possible. With her extensive product knowledge, Martha is able to recommend effective at-home regimens to help her patients maintain desired results after their body-sculpting treatments. She is now accepting new clients.
