Some factors may promote the growth of this yeast on the skin, including:

*a weakened immune system
*hormonal changes
You may try over-the-counter dandruff shampoo as a body wash daily in the shower. Wear loose fitting clothing as freqently as possible. If that does not work after a couple of weeks, make sure to visit your dermatology provider for evaluation and treatment.
