Glycolic Acids/AHAs Glycolic acids or alpha hydroxyacids lift away the dead top layers of skin, resulting in a brighter, smoother complexion. Bleaching Cream Bleaching creams contain the medication hydroquinone, which can help lighten sun spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Sensitive Skin People with sensitive skin are often unable to tolerate the agents found in many of today’s skin care products.
