The Woodruff Institute offers a full line of facial aesthetic services
to meet your skin care needs. We believe that chemical exfoliation or “peels” are
the cornerstone to maintaining a healthy, vibrant glow. There are a variety
of peels available in varying strengths. Our clinical licensed esthetician, Leticia Forker, joins us in welcoming you to our facial treatment line. We are committed to providing the most advanced preventive and corrective
techniques to you. All procedures are physician directed.
“Lunch Hour” Peel
This glycolic acid peel is designed to fit your busy schedule with no downtime.
It is proven to minimize signs of aging, fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation
irregularities. This peel gives your face a brighter glow and smoother
texture. This facial may be performed as often as every two weeks.
Hydrating Treatment
The natural aging process and sun exposure can lead to dry, worn-out
skin. This facial removes dead skin cells with a gentle peel and infuses
moisture into the deeper layers of the skin. The result is a refreshed,
vibrant glow. This facial can be repeated every two weeks.
Calming Rosacea Treatment
People with rosacea or sensitive skin often feel that they are not able
to partake of the many popular rejuvenative skin treatments. This facial
uses a gentle peel to exfoliate dead skin cells without irritation.
A hydrating mask to soothe over-stimulated skin follows the peel. This
facial may be repeated monthly.
Acne Treatment
Often a medical acne regimen can be “jumpstarted” with an
acne facial. Acne prone skin benefits from deep cleansing followed by
a salicylic acid peel that helps to unclog pores. Manual extraction of
clogged pores helps prescribed acne medications to better penetrate the
skin. Skin is left clearer and smoother. This treatment can be performed
monthly.
Back Treatment
The area we all can’t reach…
Thorough cleansing, toning, and a gentle peel are followed by a soothing
mask leaving your skin refreshed and hydrated.
Men’s Treatment
This customized facial designed especially for men provides deep pore
cleansing followed by a gentle exfoliating peel and concludes with
a conditioning treatment. Monthly treatments are recommended.
Physician Peel
The TCA (trichloroacetic acid) peel lifts off the dead, rough top layer
of skin to reveal a softer, smoother complexion. It helps with pigmentation
problems, fine lines, and mild acne. This peel can be repeated every
two to four weeks and a series is recommended to optimize results.
